Marjan Strojan is a Slovenian poet and translator. He has published eight volumes of poetry and many translations, among them Beowulf, Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, and Milton's Paradise Lost. His Slovenian Anthology of English Poetry, an essential eighteen thousand lines collection of verse translations from Caedmon to Lavinia Greenlaw, was the first of its kind in the language.
