Lynn Tait is an award-winning poet and a photographer. She was born in Toronto and resides in Sarnia Ontario Canada. She has published a chapbook titled Breaking Away and co-authored Encompass I a book with four other poets, both publications sponsored by The Ontario Poetry Society. Her poetry has been published in Literary Review of Canada, Vallum,
FreeFall, Contemporary Verse 2, the Windsor Review and in over 100 North American anthologies. Lynn is a member of The Ontario Poetry Society and the League of Canadian Poets. She is currently working on two poetry manuscripts. She is interested in poetry, books, Nature, photography, human behavior and the significance of dreams.
She believes contemporary Canadian poetry is important, due to the many peoples and cultures that Canada represents, the many stories and narratives our poetry addresses makes it possible for us to we relate to each other, learn from each other,
and shout out with voices that speak to and for all those individuals and souls who cannot necessarily speak for themselves. Canadian Poetry describes our vast country and to its readers declares— You are not alone.
