I was born and raised in Niagara Falls (Canada). I am a retired High School English teacher now living in Hamilton. I hold a Master of Arts Degree in English from the University of North Carolina, and have studied Photography at the University of Central England in Birmingham U.K. I have been a member of Tower Poetry Society for the last fourteen years.
My poems once strongly influenced by the rural landscapes of The Ottawa Valley, are now more and more shaped by the everyday urban world around me: my jogging along the Waterfront Trail, the birds at the backyard feeder, recent memories and my personal responses to them.
