Heidi Greco lives and works in Surrey, BC. She writes in many genres and her books include poetry, fiction, and criticism. The themes she explores often focus on everyday life – the good parts like the beauty of nature, the love of family and friends – and the uglier parts, such as domestic violence. She believes strongly that we need to adjust our behaviors to ease the effects of climate change. She hopes that the world soon becomes a more peaceful place. She fears that too many people believe that poetry is too hard to understand, but she hopes that her own work might help convince them otherwise. Simple words and strong visual images are the tools she tries to employ in her work.
