K.V. Skene is a Canadian born poet whose peripatetic lifestyle has her frequently moving – across Canada and, for eighteen years. in England and Ireland. Her work has appeared internationally. Additionally, her poetry sequence, The Whitening of the Ox was adapted for baritone and ensemble by Canadian composer Jeffry Ryan and performed in Toronto, Vancouver and Hamilton. She is currently a member of The Ontario Poetry Society, The League of Canadian Poets, The Canadian Authors Association, The Canada Cuba Literary Alliance and The Poetry Society (UK) Her current home base is Toronto.
