Wang Ziliang Born in Taizhou, Zhejiang, in 1958. After graduating from the Department of Chinese Language and Culture of Zhejiang University in 1982, he worked in various positions , including as a government official, chief-editor of a newspaper, and executive of a large-scale enterprise; at present he is a professor in the School of the Institute of Public Administration, Zhejiang Gongshang University. He has 6 poetry anthologies published: Triangular Prism (1984), A Boat Sailing Alone (1992), Turbulent Boundaries (2004), Tossing Dice into the Sea (2013), Kangrinboqe (2016) and Armillary Sphere (2017). His poems are included in An Anthology of Young Poets (1981–1982), 300 Misty Poems, and various other collections. Tossing Dice into the Sea won a silver medal in the first Qu Yuan Poetry Award (2013), and he won the 2nd Jiangnan Poetry Prize, and was nominated for the first Good Poetry of China Award for the poem “Clock Store.” His works have been translated into English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Arabian.
