Janice Kulyk Keefer is a writer of prose, poetry and literary criticism; born in Toronto to Ukrainian parents, she studied at the Universities of Toronto and of Sussex, and taught in the English department of the University of Guelph, of which she is now Professor Emerita. Works of hers on Ukrainian themes include Honey and Ashes. a family memoir, and two novels: The Green Library and The Ladies’ Lending Library.
